This is what I found out: When reducing the colors from 32 bits to 16 bits, in properties of desktop, full screen TV is working again.

I don't know if I have the same problem(s) as you guys, but this seems to be my problem(and temporary solution)

I have got the same problem (ati driver ver.9.3), blank screen on full screen mode.
The only way to resolve the problem was (incredible) switch from 32 to 16 bit the colors.

Ati is crazy
