There will be a new plugin Management, where you can download and install plugins directly from MP2.
Even an Distribution System for Multi seat Systems is planned.

This is an another proof for a not so clearly strategy. Don't get me wrong, I know MP is open source and everyone can do whatever he wants, contribute where he is willing to... BUT I think the Team should decide (i.e internal voting) at some point, that the currently MP1 version is no longer maintained and development get focused only on MP2. And I think that this point is reached long time ago... MP2 shouldn't be called Alpha (it scares users), it should be at least Beta, if not RC even!
Sometimes I get a feeling like there where two competing products, MP1 against MP2
If I offended someone, forgive me, it was not my intention, it is just my opinion from a long time user perspective

Also I'm recently working on other things like MP2-Edit I definitely will continue with it. I want this skin for personal use, so it's a matter of time only until i's fully working.

I'm needing aMPed Super-Blue skin for MP2 to work for me.... with all text menus and lists. I don't use any layouts with icons, no filmstrip or cover flow, either.

I agree with this. An official BETA is in planning, but there are some parts we would like to get finished: rework of MediaLibrary to store "abstract" things like series, seasons a.s.o. (we currently only store information on "file" base), or a working extension handling.

On those things we are working on. This also means that the current code base is very stable already (and could be defined "final"), but the missing features are holding us back to release a BETA.

And we need to consider that the expectations to a "BETA" or even "FINAL" build are very high...

Some remarks as designer. I know the title is "what is available in MP2", but I'd like to mention what needs to be added to make at least new skins fully usable.

• Series, Saison, Episode view --> MIA rework can do this I think

Audio:

• Album view missing (currently only by filter, but track numbers missing)
  • Play all tracks within album, shuffle function
• Covers are only taken from file (poor quality due to small size) --> does MIA rework allow also Fanart Handler to download album covers?

Available over playlists: right click/context menu on mediaitem-> Add all to playlist. Playlist can be saved and loaded (from any client!), and of course supports random playback

Yes, both the same (or related) issue. It's already on my TODO list

MP2 is under heavy development, so there will be new features and fixes nearly every day... That's why it's best to use the weekly builds also they are not fully tested...

Hey have tested the latest weekly, and also extracted the mpextended tv plugin, i cant find any tv setup in the setttings.
I want to use my configured mp1 tv server which also has mpextended up and running.
Can you please point me in the right dirextion?
