Re: Basichome extra menu item

I've logged an issue on the Avalon Github page but I wanted to add a screenshot to help support my issue as it is a little hard to explain.

It has been noted in the mp forums and I've confirmed it myself that sometimes when coming back to basichome there is an extra menuitem at the top of the main menu. It seems to only happen when you first scroll up the menu, select a submenu item and then once loaded go back to basichome. It does not seem to happen if you scroll down to select the item.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm glad it's not just me then. I've haxed a few things in my basichome which I was hoping hadn't caused it for me.

I don't have that problem (using 4TR)

Actually I take that back - I have the same result as you but the text on my screen is slightly easier to see than your screenpic shows - I'm sure that's more to do with my brightness settings though. I'm going to play around with the file for the "4TR 10 rows guide" tomorrow and sort it out.

In your mytvguide.8rows.xml, mytvguide.10rows.xml, 4TR_TvGuide.8rows.xml or 4TR_TvGuide.10rows.xml (Whichever one you are using, or all of them if you want) look for

<description>template for program title light area</description>

and change

<textcolor>FF85CFFE</textcolor>

to

<textcolor>FFFFFFFF</textcolor>

(you can replace FFFFFFFF with whatever colour you want but white looks fine on my TV)

The values could be different on different files so you may need to experiment a little to get it right.

first of all: great Skin. I love it...

I've noticed that in the Basic Home Editor, where you choose the Parameter for Music, the 'Folder Structure'-View is missing

If this little issue is fixed, the skin is perfect for me.

Hi, when you are in the extensions plugin and go to show change log or if you are in one of the imdb+ mod skins and go to imdb+ info from the side menu, then nothing happens.

HOWEVER... if I change skin without closing MP from the settings from Avalon to default wide, they both popups show OK as expected, but if I change back to Avalon and try again then this time they DO appear but just incorrectly formatted and the popup bubble shows titled "select album". see screenshots attached.
