I am suspecting a problem with wavpack files. I think it will be helpfull information if you can tell us how the progressbar of the sample file looks inside MediaPortal as well as how it looks in Foobar.
Similar screenshots, just with the sample file.

If we can establish same problem with this small file, it should help dev (hwahrmann) to play with it.

    Hi Helois
I have tried a few things to reproduce the error.
I converted a mp3 file to wavpack - no problem.
I created a wavpack file with similar length than yours (1:10:00) - no problem.

Can you try on more thing on your side?
    1. make a backup of your file MusicDatabaseV10.db3
    2. delete the file MusicDatabaseV10.db3
    3. open MP and try to reproduce the problem
    4. restore your backed up version of MusicDatabaseV10.db3

This might tell us if you have a corrupt database file.

Done! Same issue as before! But i think, the issue is only with this special wavpack-file! I have ripped all my music to wavpack -images, and it works great!

    Best regards

we're retrieving the file info via the TagReader. maybe there's a problem with WavPack.
can you upload the file to a file hoster and PM me the link to it please?

I'll analysew then the file to find what's the problem.

    Hello hwahrmann!

Soryy, but i think it is not possible. The Image is nearly 2,5 GB! With an individual adapted Cuesheet it is maybe possible, to get an single track with ~150mb!

    Best regards

i had a look at the file that you uploaded for me. Tagreader reports a duration of: 00:02:55.7530000

And this is what MediaInfo shows:

    General
    Complete name : D:\Downloads\Simple Symphony op. 4 - 4. Frolicsome Finale.wv
    Format : WavPack
    File size : 106 MiB
    Duration : 2mn 55s
    Overall bit rate : 5 071 Kbps
    Album : Divertimenti
Track name : Simple Symphony op. 4 - 4. Frolicsome Finale
    Track name/Position : 4
    Track name/Total : 11
    Performer : Trondheim Soloists
Composer : Benjamin Britten; Grażyna Bacewicz; Terje Bjørklund; Béla Bartók
    Genre : Klassik
    Recorded date : 2008
    Comment : LPCM Stereo - 24bit-192kHz
    ENSEMBLE : Trondheim Soloists
    LABEL : 2L50
    SONGWRITER : Benjamin Britten

    Audio
    Format : WavPack
    Format profile : 4.07
    Duration : 2mn 55s
    Bit rate mode : Variable
    Bit rate : 5 071 Kbps
    Channel(s) : 2 channels
    Sampling rate : 192 KHz
    Resolution : 24 bits
    Compression ratio : 1.817
    Stream size : 106 MiB (100%)
    Encoding settings : -m

So it looks like that the Tagreader is ok. maybe it's just a problem with the large file.

Unpack the attached file to a Folder of your choice and run taglibtest.exe, giving it the name of the wv file as parameter.
    i.e. taglib test.exe "your wavpackfile.wv"

it'll write the duration to the outpiut window.
then please replace taglb-sharp.dll with the one from the Mediaportal folder and see if you still get the same result.

Happy and succesful new year, hwahrmann!

Taglibtest writes the right duration of the file (01:08:58.5400000). After replacing taglb-sharp.dll the same issue!

    Best regards

So the problem is related to taglib-sharp.dll.
    Seems they fixed the error.

I will update MP with the new dll.
In the meantime, you can use the dll i've sent you. It should work without any problems.

I have not seen that one but it is possible that after installing the 1.32 x86 version that I scanned and tested TV before installing the x64, but not sure it that would make any difference! I am currently testing an improved version but at this point it is still not clear how or when a fixed x64 version will be available.

I have not experienced that myself, and I don't know of any reason why that might occur (but my knowledge of how TV Server works is not extensive). It is strange that you mention this because there are now four DVB-T channels in the UK that behave in the same way (this is new for the UK). I think that these might be some sort of...
