Yes, they use OpenTV for both their Satellite and Cable services.

Foxtel is generally in our main metropolitan areas, we also have another provider too for Regional viewers called AUSTAR which is purely satellite.

OK, so now it is not the middle of the night, I have my head clear!

I would love to get this working but just realised that this is not going to work for me (well not yet anyways). It seems that getting cable to work here is not so simple upon investigation which is why I probably set mine up the way I have in the beginning (was a long time ago). I am running my cable from my STB via composite into analogue so of course your solution is not going to work for me. I would need a DVB-C card to get this up and running.

Is anyone else running cable that has a working solution, if so, what are you using? This thread looks promising: DVB-C card - Australian Media Center Community

Sorry for deviating from the thread but I am interested in helping out in getting this epg running for us cable guys if I can get a working solution.
