    Hi,

I have also seen crashes after some time with the clients.

Looking at this section of the streaming server log

The letters which are used as filenames spell "TV Server". The bits in the log around this are other letters for the file path. It looks as though the server is trying to add files one letter at a time rather than the complete path, although this may be a simplification.

I'm not too clear about your setup, but I guess one more both of your clients is also the server. This log would suggest to me that it is the server functionality which is causing the problem, but I am not a MP developer, so I may be jumping to conclusions.

    Just trying to be helpful.

I Have two network-clients and one on the server. At this log-time there was running only the two network-clients.

Since that time up to now I has no errors on one client:oops:

I will test again now with two network clients running at the same time ;)

    Ok, I have tested again.

The RTSP-streamer stopped everytimes after TVMovie-clickfinder-import.

Strangely is it, that in tve-mmc under the category "streamingserver" the client is active and my hub is active, too.

The client on my server runs further, only the network-clients hangs up !

I dont understand this behavior:confused:

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Thanks guys. Ok, spent the (whole) weekend on this lol. First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy. It is actually a real shame as it does have potential and promises a lot (was great to have Kodi on my phone and be able to watch live/recordings...
