Thijs_O I really like your basichome, but i want to be able to point out diffrent folder with picture insted as you have made it. Is is possibly to make a request to you that you perhaps can make a basichome where i can do that (like in Emph's )

Yeah sure, that's just a matter of reverting a little bit of code. Use the Basichome from the attachment and the background-functionality will work like in Emph's mod.

Your MOD looks really nice, but i'm missing two things:

1. I don't get a weather item on the right top, am i missing a plugin?
2. On emphatic's MOD i get a shutdown menu, Is it possible to implement this in your MOD?

Revned, regarding your weather issues: just like with the normal X-factor skin and Emph's mod you will need the RSS-Ticker plugin. More instructions are in the attachment.

To everyone: I've created a new package including four different versions: the normal one, the one with multiple backgrounds, a new one with the 3 extra buttons and a combined one with multiple backgrounds and extra buttons. Includes instructions, so should be easy to pick the one that fits your needs.

I followed your instructions, but still no weather. I have 1 city in my weather setup. Here's a screenshot of what it look like. I'm using mediaportal 1.0.2

Hmm, what if you try either the Xfactor-default-basichome or Emph's basichome-mod? Do you see any weather information in those basichomes?

Since I've pretty much re-used the Xfactor (and Emph's) coding, I doubt that the basichome-mod is to blame but we can't be certain before you've tried it out with the other two basichomes.

The mod I posted uses the old RSS-Ticker plugin. That shows weather in an overlay right above the menu + RSS under the menu. Should you switch to the new plugin, only the RSS would be seen as I've not implemented support for this (I have tried but not successfully yet )

After some fiddling around i managed to get it working , but i still got one problem. When returning to basichome from a plugin the items to the left of the selected plugin get mixed up. I again attached a screenhot. This is also happening at Emphatic's MOD.

Good to hear you got the weather working.
Not sure what causes the mix-up though, I haven't encountered it yet with any of the plugins I'm running here. By the look if it you've editted the Basichome; sure you didn't by accident remove a rather essential piece of code? You can always reinsert the original basichome.xml I shared to see if it happens there too.

I tested it with the original BasicHome from your last package, unfortunately without result.
