This is unfortunately not possible. Every plugin has its own skin file and it is not possible to mix plugins in one skin file.

AEON Style Basichome mod updated

Updated the package including the .xml to work with the current version of Infoservice. If you update to the latest version of the X-Face skin, you'll notice that the RSS is no longer working with the old file. Also removed the old weather overlay from the package as it's no longer used.

Note that the older package is still available for a short time in case someone want's to use older plugins for some reason. Pick the right package for your setup.

I'm also considering having the new "now playing" overlay from X-Factor, as it looks so much better IMHO. Any thoughts?

Hey, emphatic, love the aeon basichome screen. As much as I like the rest of X-factor, I was never a fan of the default basichome.

A couple of questions:

Is it possible to configure it for more than 8 buttons? Also, is there any way to toggle between infoservice RSS feeds within the basichome screen?

Yes, unfortunately, this requires a lot of cutting/pasting + editing of the .xml file. Not something I'm up for doing, sorry, but you should be able to figure out yourself by looking at how the menu is structured.

Also, is there any way to toggle between infoservice RSS feeds within the basichome screen?

Not as what's currently implemented, but since the feed is beneath the main menu, it would be convenient to have such a button to the left of the feed, behind the logo of the current feed (if a feed image is chosen). This does however involve some layout issues, as that button should have a label, and if that's not totally covered by the feed image, it would look bad.

Update xfactor mod

I have worked on a new submenu and som new gfx

I'm probably the only one who think that nowplaying that has been removed was unique for the xfactor.
So i am keeping it in my mod but in a new layout.

I have to clean op the Basichome so It's easier to edit
and maybe som guide lines on how to make the submenu you want.

Resolution:
1024* and up

hi sixsox ! i also like your mod with the old style now playing , where i can get the resolution of 1280*720 ? i dont see them any more ? i can only see mod 1024 and mod small sub ?
can you uplode all version again ...
