If I do this:

3. Have the same multiimage for all main menues (those with the pictures).
Specify the image path for all main menues (1 to 6) with the same value, like "music".

is this statement correct?

"while music menu is active, even if you scroll through the subitems, since the same multiimage is used, the background image may change."
I thought the time counter would reset whenever I scroll through the subitems...

how long does it take for the image to change? I first thought 30sec but it seems like 1 or 2min?


Also I found a bug
In the menu selector in MP, the 2 options for weather don't give any confirmation if you select either one.
Also, if I select "always show", it doesn't happen. Still have to press down. will post this in google code.
EDIT: nope it was a known bug and now it is resolved

Would it be possible to have a 'clean up' button in the editor to delete/get rid of all the old BasicHome backups - my skin folder has an insane amount of backups in it!

Good idea! Maybe those backups could go into a sub-folder "backups" in the first place to avoid clutter in the skin's root directory.

Or the menugenerator should keep 2 or 3 backups of xfactor.xml (user menu settings) and totally skip the backup of basichome.xml.
If user settings are kept then the relevant basichome can be regenerated when needed.

Excellant idea - then, maybe, we could have an option to 'load' the different xfactor.xml backups into the generator
