I am installing with mpi rev 396, the one I had previous was somewhere in the 200 but I cant really remember. sorry.

Edit: So I downloaded the rar and replaced the files in windows and process and now my editor is the correct one in MP config. I will let you know if the skin is working right. Thanks for your help.

Edit: So the transitions are working and the font is white, but the selection on the home screen within a thumbnail is still the same (The top bar comes up) did you go back to this or is it suppose to be the box format?

Good to hear that things are staring to work as it should, thank you for your time resolving this issue. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "but the selection on the home screen within a thumbnail is still the same (The top bar comes up)". It is that you have the horizontal menu (see picture 1) but want any of the other menues (see picture 2 to 4)? In that case you should open MP and goto settings and then xfactor and select the layout you want.

Or did I missunderstand your question?

O ok I see now. I didn't know it was that customizable. I think that has resolved all my issues. Thanks again for all your help, and this skin is getting better and better.

Feature request: Could you stop using "keep aspect ratio" on movie posters in MyVideo as well as in Moving Pictures? Because if you have a poster that's not the same proportion as the frame round it, it's showing very clearly. And with such little stretching as for a poster sized image, it won't be as noticeable I think.

Hi cul8er, thanks for this piece of art.
I Got a problem with zapping osd, while zapping up or down the description of the program doesn't change, just the channel name and logo change, but the information of the program is the one of the channel I'm watching. This behaviour is different in other skins, where you can browse what is on the other channels without really changing.I know i can use the miniguide, but I was wondering if this is a bug , or is the behaviour by design.

Cul8er, well done - best skin around by a long shot.

I am using 1.1Beta on 1920x1080 HD plasma and have a few problems.

1. Text overlap - it looks as though the font is too large in titles or there is a positioning problem. This is throughout the skin, see examples attached:

2. Current program colour in the guide - the lime green does not work for me, is there any way I can change this to Blue.

3. Configuration tool is great but it forces you to select a file, cannot see jpg format (must be png but existing images are jpgs)and uses full path that is not recognized in the xml files. This is fixed by removing the excess path c:\etc\etc\etc

4. The menu image in the 1.1beta menu option obliterates the text, I have removed the menu images and the menu looks much better - see screen dump in attachment.

5. move the mouse in any of the menu screens and all graphics and text disappears - see screen dump in attachment. All return if remote arrow is used or mouse is moved to top left hand corner of screen.

6. main menu screen flickers if TV is running in background (small window)

1 and 2 are my biggest issues - if I can get them fixed I will be delighted. Again thumbs-up for a terrific skin, after two years of Xface (the early star) this has brought fresh air back to my HTPC.

Let me know if I can play around with the text and colours myself (zero programming skills but a little savvie)

I think the info button should show full info without the need of any other keypress. And it should be the play button (when fullscreen video playing) the one which show the time bar for a few seconds.
What do you think?
