Hi, I have a problem with the weather option, it doesn't matter what I choose or always shown or when scrolling down, it is not working.

You have to enter cities in the Weather tab of the MP Configuration.
Then (in MP Configuration) you have to go to the InfoService Plugin, go to the second tab (Weather) and enable Weather. I also forgot to do this and had the exact same issue.

"Always shown" doesnt work in R340, this was a known bug and is resolved so it will be fixed in next version.

I am using you skin, because I can include my own plugins in the main menu! (IMAP, MultiSeat Tools)
Still searching for a good timer (after 60 minutes execute command x or just shutdown or call a batch script for my multiseat shutdown).
Would fit into your process plugin?!?!

by the way I am using 1.1 beta - when will you release a version so I don't have to modify the basichome.xml files to make multiimage tags work?

for next version ..mabye .. and i see in the gogle code you rase the all the date view up , wich is great ...and will look even better

im using xfactor skin 390. I´ve problems starting Videomenu from Basichomescreen - nothing happens. If I use the alternative homescreen Videomenu will start and display me all the films.

In the radio menu there are no stations i have configured with media tv-server setup.

Im using Media Portal 1.1.0.2

What´s wrong? Any help or any FAQ for me?

Hi and welcome

By default it is configured for MovingPictures/ that is an external plugin that you must install and configure for movies. If you just want to use Videos, use the menueditor to change the menu item to myvideos.xml

I am not currently using radio. Anyone else?

Now I only have a problem with My Radio. Do I need a special plugin? Ok - I know that you don´t use Radio. With TV-Server Config I´ve mapped all of my radio stations and preview works fine. With xfactor skin there is only the Menu-Screen - no channels. While using Radio-EPG Menu I will see all of my radio channels.

Any idea?

I tried to install this new rev and when I go to configure the menu it has all my old settings, so I say make new home screen and then save, and when I load the skin it has balck font for the ticker, and the font on "TV, MOVIES, Movies, Music, etc." is very small. Also it is using the same selection for things like tv series within the TV option as the old bar at the top, instead of the boxes that you have pictured. I deleted the cache folder, and then installed the x-factor mpei, I tried to uninstall the old one but MP config wouldn't let me, and I don't know what else to do.

Yeah, sorry about the description, it is hard to explain. Here are some screen shots.

Edit: Also, I tried deleting the whole x-factor folder and re-installing it with mpei, an it remains the same. Also, I can't uninstall the previous version from the mpi screen on MP config. I don't really know what is going on. The transistions from one box to another on the home screen are also just like the old rev and not rev 390.

Hi,

Thank you for the screenshots. By the look of it you have not the correct version of the dll files (the xfactor.dll plugin) that generates the basichome menu.

Some questions;
* what version are you using (386, 390 or 396)?
* did you install the RAR file or the MPI file?
