    I run windows @ 1920x1080
    but my media portal doesn't run that resolution :(
    try to open reference.xml in the skin x-factor skin folder and change this line

    <skin>
    <width>1280</width>
    <height>720</height>
    <version>1.0.1.0</version>
    </skin>

    with this

    <skin>
    <width>1920</width>
    <height>1080</height>
    <version>1.0.1.0</version>
    </skin>

    That sure doesn't look like a 16:9 resolution. Are you using a plasma screen? Even if your TV tells you that you're displaying 1080p, that doesn't mean that's what your video card is outputting.

    Perhaps the home screen (not Basic Home) could use a little touch up? I know that this skin has "everything" on the Basic Home, but the home screen supposed to be this dark forever? I tried to use the "settings_bg.png", but just doing this wasn't pretty.

    Also the "Plugins" screen has the same issues (not really skinned).

    Edit: I made a new home screen background. Gonna upload it in the mod section right now.

    culter is it possible to make an option in the edito for the menu pics. instead of using black and white pics. use the collored ones. but that the user can check into the editor an option: show menu pics black and white.
    thanks then users who preffer the color and the b&w user can use the same pics but the editor overides the colour for the pics.
    is it possible?

    Hi remb0,

    This is a good suggestion. I will see if I have time to include in this version or in next. Thank you for this.

    best regards

    cul8er: I think it's better for you because you don't have to edit the pictures, and fullfil the wishes of dirrent users :) so the xfactor skin would be even better.

    another question: if i'm in the moving pics of another plugin/module and will return to the basichome it takes a while. how does this come? is ther an option to clean/speedup something? if have cleaned the logs/cache and use a less backart. but it still runs a bit slowly.

    and another:
    is there an option to see the status in %? like the progress of mp itself. so we haven't ask you so many wimes when the next version comes out. :)

    and maybe you can add links in the editor to the faq and other x-factor topics? (not for me but maybe handy for other users.)

    Hi remb0,

    About the black & white or color option. I will not add it to the menu editor because the picture field is free text so any user can add their own pictures so having the option flag in the editor makes no sense. But I will include both black & white pictures and color pictures of the xfactor default images so that end users can use the menu editor and change the picture name.

    Black & White pictures (default);
    * menu_pictures.png
    * menu_music.png
    * menu_movie.png
    * menu_tv.png
    * menu_shutdown.png

    Color pictures;
    * menu_pictures_color.png
    * menu_music_color.png
    * menu_movie_color.png
    * menu_tv_color.png
    * menu_shutdown_color.png

    best regards

    Hi, my answers to your questions: I use MariaDB 10.5 and Mediaportal 1.33 x86 as a user, not an administrator. MP. When I start Mediaportal, no TV service appears to have started. If I start Mediaportal as administrator everything is ok. Starting the TV service separately is only possible as an administrator. If I then start...

    I should point out that the developers have not formally left the project, and development has not formally stopped. The developers have instead simply "faded away", gradually spending less and less time on MP2 until the present, when they spend no time on MP2. But one or more of the developers might return next week! It is impossible...
