    is there any freeware which can do blu ray video burning?

    TS muxer will let you create a bluray structure, not sure what there is to actually burn it though I'm afraid.

    It's not so reach in features, but it's free.
    Personally I also don't want to pay for superannuating technologies, that's why this one and infrarecorder are my favorites.

    I'm using TSMuxer for mastering and Ashampoo Brning Studio for burning. Ashampoo is a lot like Nero was before Nero starts to be a huge Monster with way too much features absolutely unnecessary for burning. Ashampoo Burning Studio is free available, also it's not Open Source...

    I don't organise my media in the way that you do, so I don't know whether MediaPortal provides the capability that you want.
