[french] Allez fait pas chochote :p, si un problem n’hésite pas [/french]
    chochote toi même !!!

For MP devs : Started from zero with VS2015 :
I saw you modified wiki , thanks for that submodules explanation.

MP client can't be compiled because of reference problem :
We have to put BASS.targets file in \Packages\BASS.2.4.12.1\build\BASS.2.4.12.1\build because this file is in \Packages\BASS.2.4.12.1\build\native folder.
Or, we have to change the reference in core.csproj, as you want.

Also, I have the postbuild exited with code 1, even with Windows anti-virus and firewall desactivated, don't know why

And finally, we have to compile MP client in release mode, not in debug because otherwise, TVPlugin can't be compiled.
TVPlugin references MP client .dll (common, ...) with the release client path.

And the latest is that at the first clone, GIT say us that \mediaportal\MediaPortal.Base\skin\Titan\Media folder has been modified (red exclamation dot) where, it's not the case.

    Hope it helps.

    Well, all is explained.
    - Delete your MP existing code (or move it elsewhere).
    - Do an initial GIT clone.
    - Try to compile.
    - Normally, you will find what I wrote...

you build only MP client solution or from *.bat ?
I build MP client, MP server and, TVPlugin with VS2015 (both in debug and release for testing).
I don't use .bat file, since years, I know what is generated and, where. ;-)

I don't want war, yes release is official one.
And, IIRC, Sebastiii is a french guy ! :)(y)
We have to be careful BASS.2.4.12.1 has a \native folder, where BASS.2.4.12.2 doesn't have.

Hi, it looks like the Client's server connection settings got corrupted somehow and were reset, hopefully this is an easy fix. Open MP2-Client, navigate to Settings->General->Connectivity->Home server. In the menu on the left there may be an option Detach from home server, if there is click it and acknowledge the dialog that pops up...

I do not know why this xml was in my theme folders, it must have sneaked in some time ago (years?). I simply removed the file. The Latest Media Handler plugin seems to be working as expected. I've had no lock-ups.

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
