Is there a "Keyboard Help" screen in DefaultWideHD? to list keyboard controls? ... would be useful as a "Settings/General" sub menu.

Wait a moment ... surely the keyboard shortcuts depend on the user's choices on the "Remotes and Input Devices" panel in "MP Config":
    • If the user has selected the full HID profile, the keyboard shortcuts will be as modified by the user in the file "hid.full.xml".
    • If the user has selected the classic HID profile, the keyboard shortcuts will be as modified by the user in the file "keymap.xml".
So to display correctly the keyboard shortcuts, the skin needs to interrogate whichever of those two files is in use, and extract the actual definitions of the keyboard shortcuts. :(

    Well, here we go :D
Made this change in PVHD, but should be easy to do it in DWHD as well.
Added a button "Keyboard Shortcuts" to Settings -> General:

Pressing this checkbutton results in this display:

    What do you think?
I´ll do it for DWHD and attach the xml here when ready ;)

    Here we go again:
Copy attached XML (overwrite) into your folder DWHD (or in your OldEyesWideHD) and have fun :D

I put the skin the theme skin default view and it fixed it. The icons on the home page disappeared though.

Thanks for explaining. I found a passing reference to this here: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/wiki/display/MediaPortal1/HID%20Profiles which I had overlooked in the past. I would find it logical for a created custom profile to be automatically activated, but until that happens, I will try to create a wiki page for the current...

Attached are new TV service logs with your latest DLL. I see lots of EPG events and none of the messages from earlier. Congratulations!

In the UK, the EPG transmitted in the DVB-T datastream allows each programme to have two genres -- a primary genre, and a secondary genre (i.e. a subgenre). The primary genre might be something like Film (or Movie in the USA). The secondary genre for Film might be something like: Action, Comedy, Crime, Fantasy, Romance, Science...
