In order to help me prepare for this release - do we have to manually download each series poster (instead of banner) for the series page? or is there an update to tv-series which is coming that will do this for us?

No you don't This is a new feature of the tvseries plugin.

There is a new option in TVSeries config under 'Import Settings' that allows you do download posters instead of banners. Simply click on this to download the posters for the series, but this will probably be mentioned in the release note along with how to display posters in list and filmstrip mode.

After this release, I will work on getting both to download at the same time instead of having a choice. Also have the ability to change the layout from with-in MediaPortal instead of coming back to config.

Too bad there are quite a number of (my) series that DO have banners, but DON'T have posters.

I thinks this i going to be one of the most wanted and
best skins made for MediaPortal in those 3-4 year i used MP.

i havent updated my old MediaCenter since 0.2.0.0.
But soon the time will come with MP 1.0 final.
And then most suited skin ever.

I say keep up the good work m8's. And focus on the main features. When final SteamedMP or whatever comes. Maybe a new thread will be a good idea to make a poll or something on external plugins.

Anyway im very pleased and look forward to this skin. i'll hope this is going to be the Standard skin in MP for the future

Any news on the ETA? And is there an overview of the supported plugins? I hope that MyTrailers and TVGemist (but I guess that's a long shot) are supported.

The upcoming release is a beta release, so it obviously won't have massive plugin support, I have ruled out adding For the Record support for this beta release as it will take to long for me to set it up when i have other stuff to fix. Basically all the core mediaportal functions are supported. We have also completed moving pics, tvseries, mvids.
