For some, yet unknown reasons visualizations in this plugin have stopped working all together in combination with the later MP versions. The code that i use for visualizations however is mostly not my own and too much spagetti to sort it out (With all respect to the ppl that have created it).
That means no visualizations on the short term; i will have to rewrite it

MP1 MP2 MP stuck on splash screen DE

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck? Preferable with as much disabled as possible also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything) maybe other programs competing for resouces?

MP1 MP2 mc2xml seems to work but no EPG is imported in MP2 DE

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason.
