MyFilms v4.8.0 - A new question! (1 Viewer)

zebons once again thanks for a plug-in. The problem has solved. Simply in xml reference files were sensitive to the register.

Anyone got MyFilms 4.8x to work properly with the Streamedmp 0.4.298 skin? I tried several mod xmls but still many of the fields like acteurs, duree, item 1, etc. litter the screen, is there a guide on how to link the displayed information on the skin to the Ant Movie Catalog?

Thanks for your fast replay,

I have attached 2 exemple with 2 different skins, I use StreamedMP, but I give the same problem in all the skin I tried (Monochrome, Titanium).

The 2 fields displayed as "Audio" and "Critica" are Audioformat and Comments, I have choosen this 2 field in "Detailed Supplementary Information" in MyFilms configuration. I tried to choose different fields and they work, but not "Audioformat" and "Comments".

What do you have put in your setup optionnal ' for displaying Audioformat ?
For the comments field the problem is that field is a very long string as plot (description) so you cann't put it as single line screen field. You have to ask an enhancement to the skin author to get it (It'd be a textscrollup screen field). You can test as it'd be with those streamedMP skin files (see on detail view)

In 'Ant Item to Display' I have put "Audioformat"
It's not a problem with skin because it happens the same with all the skin I have installed.
With the 4.7.9 version I have before it's was working fine.

I have updated to MP 1.0.1, I have updated both the skin I use: Monochrome and StramedMP, but nothing change:
Still a "s" for the movie description and #Audioformat for Audio format.
Why I am the only one with this problem?
Why no solutions for this?

i was having similar problems to the above, where i was getting #mediatype, #item1, #item2 and #item3 in the film description screen (i can only assume theyre there in case the movie has any miscellaneous info)...

So i deleted any <id> referencees to them in the MesFilmsDetal.xml file. i also set the number of star images to draw to = 0 so that the star ratings disappeared as i was never very keen on the way it looked. It now looks like this for me (using Bleazle skin)...

Notice though that im still having problems with the cover image size. Ive tried playing around with the dimensions of the cover image in details.xml but it never really solves the problem because the issue is different for every film.

Ive attached my altered MesFilmsDetail.xml file for anybody that wants it, and i can change it for anyone who wants to keep the star ratings as well if you like, just let me know.

search for #picture in your xml file. there should be two sections. then delete this line in both sections
<keepaspectratio>yes</keepaspectratio>

usually the sizes are similar enough that it doesn't distort it too much and the size remains constant

hmm, thanks for the pointer ^^^. seems to have cured it for some, but i still have a lot of covers that are being displayed wrong...

Which xml file? Mesfilms.xml? I did look in that one, but can find no #picture with <keepaspectratio> setting at all... Many of the covers are still distorted, any other suggestion welcomed!

Hi, here attached you can find a modified version for StreamedMP.
It works great for me, with fanart, logos and all the rest!
Let me know if you still have problems!
