No Sound after Fast forward with DTS encoded Files! (1 Viewer)

Hi Symphy!

Only a small Issue: After pressing "Fast Forward" or "Pause"on my Remote, there is no sound with my DTS-Files! Other Music is working fine!
I attached my Logs!

I may have found something that can help solve this problem:

In the old version if I switch to using floating point streams it has the same problem that everything goes silent after fast-forward or rewind. In the new version there is no option to switch the use of floating point stream on/off. I am guessing the new version always uses floating point, am I right? In that case the problem could have something with using float streams.

Thanx for your input. That's indeed correct. Have found the likely couse of this problem this weekend. When pausing or forwarding, the volume is internally set to zero and then restored. However, it never reaches 100% again breaking bitperfectness.
The fault remains below 16 bit resolution, so i dont quite understand yet why that would bother DTS, because thats always in a 16 bit format as far as i know. Apparently the SPDIF is used in 24 bit mode and the receiver requires the 8 lowest bits to be all zeros.

Unfortunately the error is in the bass library. For DTS there is an easy workaround by not touching the volume (not really needed) but the fault will remain for normal music when using the fade-in/fade-out feature.

I will release an update coming weekend or so with the fix.

Unfortunately... This plugin is only used when playing music, so fixing it won't solve your problem.
