Did you read that?
For skinners please take a look at the webbrowser.xml. I had to change the window id from 16002 to 5500 and i also changed the filename from infoserviceweb.xml to webbrowser.xml
When yes, then lets wait for the RC1/beta release :)

The mouse was disappering all the time (on my pc and htpc), because of the Auto Hide Mouse feature of MediaPortal. This patch gives me the possibilty to turn off the auto hide mouse feature from mp when entering the browser and turning it on when exiting.

Yes, I read that and replaced the file. You are using the "old" webbrowser ID. Nevertheless here is nothing displayed. I´d also like to see the Beta1 tomorrow. Hope you will then come up with a compatible version. The slowness of the "show all feeds..." results because I have 40 in both fields of the InfoService Config. Therefore the system tries to form a fadelabel string from 12 feeds with approx. 20 titles per feed which results in a string of about 7200 characters (!). Will test it now with different settings. CU!

One more thing: As a skinner I have nearly all plugins installed, therefore also the "old" webbrowser plugin. With this I installed the MOZILLACONTROLLib.dll, which gave me the mouse in the previous version. Maybe this is a hint for you?

I think not that this will help, because i use the ie engine as browser. Besides that the problem is fixed for mp 1.02 with my little patch and i think it would be no problem to include that little patch in the beta. And if i have luck, the mp devs include my little patch :)

After a little bit of testing on my htpc i'll upload a new version. Please read the Installation readme carefully and use the patched MediaPortal.exe and Core.dll only for MediaPortal 1.02. I'll release new patched files with the new MediaPortal 1.1.0 Beta/RC1. For skinners please take a look at the webbrowser.xml. I had to change the window id from 16002 to 5500 and i also changed the filename from infoserviceweb.xml to webbrowser.xml ;)

Edit: Uploaded the new version ;)

    Confused a tad here....

Just grabbed the new version and stuck it on my test box, ok this is running 1.1.0 Alpha so expected some things not to work...but as all seems too, bar the web part, as catavolt said just a black screen.

The confusing part is I have been running version V9.9.3 I never installed the infoserviceweb.xml but the web part worked fine  having just checked the logs I seen a message saying that the file is missing but did not seem to effect the functioning of the web part...

Will test on the live 1.0.2 system tomorrow but just thought this was strange...

This page is indeed not necessary. It's just there for future things and to get rid of some errors in the log. What i can say, that the webpart of the new version is very different form the old webbrowser part, so this could be normal. Let's wait for tomorrow so i can test with the new beta. I think it make no sense to get that thing working with the old alpha.

    Hi edsche, any news?
Mh no, there is no mp beta source released yet. Infinityloop said something about 4th September.

A few months ago we started to use our own, team internal SVN server, because SourceSorge slowed us down a lot.

We are now happy to announce that starting with the 4th of September every interested programmer and skin designer will be able to have read-access to our new team SVN server and therefore to the very latest state of development!

We will still keep the SVN on SourceForge as backup, to which we will sync our team's SVN manually every 1-2 months.

We will post a separate news wit the logindetails during the next week.

I only found the bug with the remote zooming problem while music is playing in background. Looks like it is a mp bug :/

    Hello,

I've updated InfoService. Please look at the new readme and at the changelog for a clean install ;) You will see, i've changed much especially the browser part is now a extra plugin. For that i've created a new thread (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...browser-v0-5-04-09-2009-new-70005/#post505204) with the install instructions and the new zooming keys.

Btw: InfoService is fully compatible with MediaPortal 1.1 Beta. I have no problems using it with the beta.

So have fun with this release ;)

Edit: I updated the translation for "Show all feeds on home". At the moment i have only the german translation. So would be nice if some other people translate that little text into their language and i add it to the next version.

Well, currently the plugin shows the sun/moon times in user's local time. As you said, It would require to add time zone parameter to the profile. I'll try to add this option in the next version. PS: please use official thread
