Just edit the fonts.xml and change the respective entries to

<start>0</start>
<end>1536</end>

That should support all languages.

first of all THX for your valuable inputs.

I think some of your ideas may find there way into the next edition, but I have to admit that i am not a friend of menu animations like "action menus" (that ones that are hidden and pop up when your near to the border).

The BasicHome should be made up in a general way for ALL users of MP, therefore I won´t change the standard layout. But there is a solution to this. We could mark all buttons with the "visible if plugin is enabled" flag so only the buttons for enabled plugins show up.

As one have to assign a unique id to every button, an individual BasicHome like yours could not easily be done to work for all the community.

Hmm strange have downloaded other skins rar files ok, only having probs with this one.

Am at work at the moment will try from home later I am guessing the the anti virus that checks incoming downloads maybe stripping the contents, although I have turned it off and is still doing it

About the hiding munu request, I was thinking only if you could provide an alternate screen that a person could replace the default screen with if they wanted to. My Wife and I only use the Remote Control for MP, so a single extra click to the left (or up, depending on the wiew) would bring up the menu only when we wanted it. All other times we would have more covers displayed on the screen at once.. it makes browsing for Music or Videos more attractive and less cumbersome. I can see how it would be annoying for mouse users ... Thant's why I only suggested an alternate screen as well to use.

What are the id's for the buttons I need for my use... and which XML(s) would I need to change . And it would be nice for me to change the order of the buttons for my use priority (although I would not want to trust my attenpt at XML).

I was just dreaming... and dreaming always gets me into trouble... What if you could make the buttons on the Basic Home screen have changing functions instead of going to another screen.... focus any button and click to left or right and the button (if ther are other options) will change it to an alternate function... for example: highlight "My Music" (click "enter" it if you want to go directly to My Music, or click "left arrow" or "right arrow" and the button changes to "My Playlists" or "My Music Videos".. click "left" or "right" again and it changes to "My Radio" or "My LastFM". Of course, it would work easiest for Remote and Keyboard users.

I'm probably dreaming something that is impossible (and impractical) to do with MP.

Thanks again for this skin... so far it is my favorite for my use.

I get one problem tho, MyTv Series looks like this when it is listing all the tv shows I have. The icons on the right are tiny!

Are you using TVServer? I have to know that to evaluate the fault.

Yes, I am using TV Server. Both MP and TV Server as of SVN 27 June 08.

I can still hear sound and I can see parts of the TV video around the black mask between the edge of the skin TV.
