hwahrmann, multiple (i should say many) users reported that the action is behaving differently in RC3 and >RC3.

it's not possible all of them changed their mappings.

possibilities?
1. new installation changed mappings
2. something was changed in the code

in any way, it should be looked into

Sorry nothing changed in code.
I was always using SVN versions and official RC versions and the Red Button or "x" always switched to Fullscreen Viz.

If it once would have switched to Now Playing for me, then i would have considered THIS being a bug and would have corrected it.

But again: What's the problem? Do a remapping of the Keyboard and or remote and you're set.

Looks like i need to apologize.

i've downloaded RC3 code and compiled and you're right.
When there is NO vis configured, the "x" switched to "now Playing".
When you have a Vis configured it switches to Fullscreen Viz.

I've never noticed it before, because since i started using MP, i always have a Viz enabled.

However in RC5-6 the switching to Fullscreen is disabled, when there is no Viz selected.
I remember that a while ago i introduced some fix for not showing an empty Vis Window, when theres nothing enabled.
But i'm sure that was well before RC3. Need to find out what else has changed. Seems to be some change in the General Player module.

Getting old: i've implemeted the change on 22.12.2008, so that a switch to Now Playing is done, when no Viz is defined.
However i still don't know, when it got disabled.
Will check.

Ok, found out who has changed it.
Reverted the changes. In 1,1 it will work again as i introduced it back in december 2008.

Awesome to hear this was fixed. This was a big deal for me... I was using a work-around via the "Media Playing" condition and showing the nowplaying window but this plays havoc when video is playing.

Anyways...glad its on the list..great work.
