I can put as many buttons as i like but not without breaking the design which i won't do.

I can not understand how it can break down. Design tile when tiles are symmetrically, the design is not broken and become more flexible. Try to make a picture with 3 elements in a column (rightmost), and with 4. As for me will be just fine.

It breaks because there should be no more than 2 rows or 3 columns and each section should have one or both sizes of tile from other sections. Trust me i've been doing this a long time
