Yea that skin looks awsome! I still have a pile of crap 21 inch SDTV using s-video. The video's look decent but inside the skin (Bluetwo) it's hard to read. I would love to get a new tv to go along with all these cool skins... maybe one day!

    Keep up the good work!!

Thank you so much for all the great feedback I have received. I'm thrilled that you like what I'm doing. Makes me want to work harder! :)

Here's a screenshot of the video osd. It's not completely finished yet. I haven't placed the buttons for the audio, subtitles etc. I'm thinking of not having any play, pause etc. however since they're not really needed if you use a remote which I think most people do.

    Anyway... Here it is...

Nice OSD, I'd agree with your thoughts on dropping the play/pause etc buttons, gives more space for the text.

Keep up the great work, I'm really looking forward to trialling this widescreen skin.

    Great job,

we hope that you're realease coming soon :)

    Thanks :)

I'm almost done with all the basic functionality but there are still alot of screens to skin before it's complete. I'm thinking of releasing an alpha version as soon as I'm finished with enough to have a basic working skin with the most common functionality.

Most likely it will contain screens for:

    Home-screen
TV incl. all the subscreens and the TV OSD
    Music
    Video incl. video OSD
    Pictures
    Weather

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

So i cannot actually edit it. Can et bee due to the "long"...

Many thanks for the answer. So far I've used Logitech's Harmony hub. This allows you to control all components (including the media portal). I have now contacted the Sofabaton hotline. It should also work here like with the Harmony. Unfortunately, not all of the IR codes are correct. You can also learn commands here. But that doesn't...
