It's a limitation of the standard dialogfilestacking windows (20 entries). In previous version, the limit for MyFilms and better visibility during movie choice, the limit was downgrading to 15.
In 4.7 the limit'll be 20 enties.
Suppressing that limit needs a MP's Core enhancement :sorry:
To be asked to the developpers Core Team...

I always have DVB subtitles enabled in "MP Config", but I actually switch on subtitles only for those films that have deafening sound effects and music, combined with inaudible dialogue. I have never noticed the problem that you have described, but I also use the EVR renderer, and not the Madvr renderer. So...

Every so often, when I switch to a TV channel, my MP client stops accepting user inputs, either from the remote or keyboard/mouse...
You could use a different player that handles HDR content but thats more hassle then installing MadVR

Hi, I have done this previously but have just done a fresh install of MP1 (1.34 X64) and for the life of me can't see how to do it...

I upgraded because mepo 2 was a fresh way.. and migration screwed up all old settings ..
