Nice! Why do you have to raise it? I think it looks good like that. It would be intuitive if left/right arrows/buttons act like "back" (escape) when the menu has been pulled up. Of course, back should also work if possible.

Do you use any animations in your skin btw?
Left/right arrows/buttons will hopefully act like "back" (escape). Don't use any animations apart from a tiny one on the slide out menus. Makes the skin fast and responsive. I'll probably and some slide and fade effects to the new style basic home menu.

    I´ve two questions:

    - This will be the future basic home? no more list style?

    - I use Myfilms plugin.
Can you add a field with original and translated name of the movie?
If you mean the normal home screen, it will be there... these are just the basic home screen images.
I'm sorry to say that because I've lost all my old work when my laptop died at the moment only TV Series, Moving Pictures, Lyrics, Showtimes, DriveFreeSpace and InfoService are supported...
Beta's good but i'd prefer a full release if poss :)

BTW - you have a real superhero thing going on there ;)
I'll release in the next few days (although I have my kids this weekend and I'm off to Holland for work next week :p) just gotta redo the basic home screen. Oh, and it will be a beta 'cause I don't have a working TV Server at the minute. moved house with no aerial ;)

    Superhero

I really like the screenshots, and I'm looking forward to going back to Indigo (or Monochrome - can never make up my mind).
The first image, however: I don't like the "list view", as I think there shouldn't be air around the bars... (looks like long buttons).

Other than that (and not being 720 ;)), LOOKING GREAT!

Just a quick question: will this skin come in blue and in black? Both look awesome btw, however I think I slightly prefer the blueish theme ;)

Well... the basic idea is to have a comletely standard set of XMLs. I'm creating PSDs for all the gfx elements so it'll be a simple case of applying different styles to each element ;)
For example creating all the Monochrome gfx took about half a day :D. I originally started with the MCE colour scheme.

Here's some other gfx ideas I have for buttons and dialogs...

Do you use ImageReady to export all of your png's? It would be a really good tool I think, just created slices of all buttons on one big .psd file, and have different colours schemes on different layers of the .psd. As the "Export optimzed as" will let you choose all slices in a .psd. Or do you have a more clever/less elaborate way? It will be very interesting to get to try the end result of you efforts.

    :D

Hi PR Good to see you back!

I really like the redesign you've got here but... (threre's always a but!)

You said you based Indigo around the MCE colour scheme and it does look very MCE 2005. It just seems a bit, well, bright and maybe a little dated? :sorry:

I love the design but do you think you could maybe do something around Vista MC / Win 7 MC colour scheme i.e slightly darker blues, greens etc? :D:D:D Monochrome is perfect, but I prefer the blue of Indigo.

Don't mean to p*** all over your great work, i'll still use it even if you decide to stick with what you have! :D

Here's another update. I have change so Live now is in the title, but instead of this "FIS Längdåkning: VärldscupenLIVE" it's looking like this "FIS Längdåkning: Världscupen: Live" And I did another update where there where only a season-number and not an episode-number, but a subtitle. I think that the file is as good as it can be...

I've done a few MP1 installs in the past and haven't had a problem, so I didn't expect one today. I just purchased a mini PC with Win11 installed. I downloaded and tried installing Mediaportal 1. I chose single click standard installation with no TV. It started working on things and I wasn't paying terribly close attention, but...

When I tested MP 2.5 some months ago using TVE3.5, I found that "scan for channels" failed to find any channels when I selected a DVB-T2 tuner (a TBS 6284) :(, but succeeded when I used a DVB-T tuner (a Pinnacle 2000i) :). Obviously the Pinnacle found only those channels broadcast in DVB-T MUXes (in the UK we have both DVB-T MUXes and...
