Well, if the buggy version means that for example video playback for other users gets broken then its not definately the right way to go!

That must be the "butterfly effect"

Sure, but I think about a version used only by the users who have interest on this features only... like me

Can I try to compile last SVN with (old) CUE patch ?


EDIT:
Well... I have compiled last SVN fine, but, as supposed, with CUE patch it wont compile. In which version can I apply this patch, or, better, where I can find an update version of the patch ?

The latest version that i know of it was working is from March, 10th.
Maybe later ones work as well.
you need to try.
i will not invest further time into it until 1.0 is out.

Maybe a solution - but i need help!

Hello Community!

Maybe i have found a solution for the payback of chapters in MP!
1. Ripp CD lossless as wavpack-Image with Cuesheet!
2. Convert Wavpack to Matroska Container (.mka)!
3. Now you can play this file with the "internal dshow player" and you will see the Haali Media Splitter in Tray with the chapters and you can choose the chapters in the tray application!
But it isn't possible to choose the chapters inside MP.......Why?

Another way could be the Support of ".apl - Linkfile" - Playback! I tried it in Foobar with flac-, wavpack- and ape- Images - and it works. But the Playback of these Linkfiles doesn't work in MP!

well, if i add support for .apl link file, i could add support for cue as well.
The problem is that we're in feature freeze until 1.0 is out.

i know that a lot of you are desparately awaiting cue file support.
But, due the architecture of MP1, it is really a nightmare.
We broke playback of other modules and therefor decided to wait until 1.0 is out.

in MP2 it is implemented very easily without affecting anyone else, but MP1 is not so easy.

Isn't it possible to handle .apl - Linkfiles a "normal" Musicfiles? I think there is a difference between Cuesheet and a Linkfile!

But i can wait!
