Hi Guzzi, thanks for keeping MyFilms go on

I´ll try to help testing. I have some things don't working fine:

- In configuration, title, I select translated title (master, secondary and sort). MePo displays the translated title in general view but in detail view it displays original title. No way to have translated one. I think that hapen from beginning of 4.9 but I'm not shure.

- In configuration, Optional 1, Default view, if I select "date", when you click save, it change itself to "DateAdded". The problem is if after that I change something else, sort change to "none" by clicking "save". If I want to keep "Date" I must remember select it before to click "save".

- In the same part of config, If I don't check "Display always that view when using this config" (I have only this config, checked as default), when entering in myfilms MePo displays a general view (all the movies, sorted by name) instead of the selected one. If I check "Display always that view when using this config" it works fine, but if I look for and find some movie (I've got more than 1500) and after that I go to home or somewhere else, when I come back to myfilms I loose the selected movie and it displays "correctly" the default view!

I tested too, but always got translated title ;-) - configuration afaik only applies to the facadeview.
Other propertydisplay is depending on the skinimplementation - i checked some of the skinfiles and it uses "hardcoded properties", e.g. #myfilms.translatedtitle. So you would have to change it in the skinfile. if you post your skinfile, i can change it.

Are you sure, you tested latest binary? i just tested and yes, it changes to "dateadded", but keeps it also when saving again.

You're right. Not many skin support this version of MyFilms. I use it with Black glass Nova (wich only display one fanart in details view Amped show random fanart fine...). I changed the skin file and now I can see translated title in detail view

My question is: If I disable "Display always that view when using this config", when entering for the first time into the plugin MyFilms, the selected default view should be displayed? I think it should be. The difference between enable or disable "Display always that view when using this config" should be for futher come back to the plugin until next restart of MePo.
When I disable this option, I never see the default view...

I tested diferent sort. With date I tall you wath happens. With title, the same thing, when I save, it change to translatedtitle and in the next save to none. Whit the other options (year, rating) it switch between capital and small letters when I save but stay ok on next save.

Hi, so I think I have fixed all of those issues - but only in 5.1alpha trunk - so will do some more testing and maybe backport it to 4.9.x.
The config now should behave as you requested - when alwaysdefaultconfig is unticked, only on firsttimestart the view would be loaded - afterwards it is restoring your last view/config (until MePo was closed completely).

The problem of sortoptions not kept on second saving should also be solved... and I added the new coverflow view of MePo 1.2 to the configoptions...

Thanks, good job! I did some test and now it works as expected: If "Display always that view when using this config" is unchecked, the selected default view appear only the first time you enter to myfilms, after it keeps the last foccused.

The problem of sortoptions not kept on second saving is also solved for me.

I can't try the coverflow view, I'm still in MePo 1.1.1...

Another things:

In config, Optional 2, supplementary search, the info says: "The following searches are already implemented: by year, by name, by date, by rating, by actors, by genre. you can add...." But for me in MePo-Myfims-Search the only displayed options are: by name, by actors and related movies by persons.

I added as supplementary search genre and country, the problem is when there are multiple entries in the field (for example by genre, if you look for thriller, if you have "thriller, action" in the field, the movie don't appears). this is solved in genre, coutry, and actors views (list separator), it would be fine that the same list works for search to.

I didn't backport coverflowsettings - only the fixes for reported bugs.
But no problem - while coverflow looks really nice, 1.2 is still in alpha - I am also back on 1.1.1 ;-)

Yes, the info wastn't updated, when we implemented the new and more flexible searchfunction - only Movie and actor are left as default. I changed the info.

You should use the new and advanced "global search by properties" function. You can add whatever field you want to search in and either search only in a specified property - or search in all fields - getting results for findings in any of the properties.
This search uses *<searchstring>* and thus would find all e.g. action movies, even if there is other genres included in genre field.
You can also use the search all and just enter "act" - it will find all action movies in genre property ...

Ok. I didn't know this feature. It's really useful. After some quick test it works quite correctly. There is some things I'd like to test a beat more (like searching only in movies of the present selected view, come back after search doesn't go to previous view, some strange results searching in all properties...). My test was to quick and I'm going to be out for working some weeks. I'll do it in December.

To make update easier, I have created an installerfile - includes the dll, languagefiles and blue3/blue3wide skinfiles.

My first installer, so let me know, if it doestn't work ;-)
