    Hi,
ok, I will try to describe it in a different way. The left picture shows the Titan main menu I would expect, but my MP Titan shows only a textual menu represantation (see right picture). I do have installed Titan extended and already tried Classic and Basic. Always the same behaviour.
Does anybody have an idea, what I'm doing wrong?

Does switching with "H"-Key work? Should switch between Basic and Classic. Settings in Configuration correct? Should be "Classic and Basic prefer Basic".

    HTH,
    Flip.

Don't know if its been mentioned elsewhere, but several additions are required to the media/logos sections to correctly match with MyVideos scraping details - I found the following were needed for recognition

    Audio
    DTS MA
    7.1
    stereo
    mono

    Video
    MPEG VIDEO VERSION 2 MAIN@HIGH

otherwise they are not displayed correctly. Hope I haven't duplicated a known issue - tried search but didn't come up with anything.

Thanks for a wonderful contribution to MP. The whole package - even in beta form, is extremely fast and fluid.

EDIT - seems like my search wasn't as good as I hoped - notice this is discussed further down the first page - sorry about that.

EDIT: I have found how to change from within mediaportal, but none the less IMHO the below bug still stands, it should also work from within the configuration panel as we used to.

I have searched the forum, but could not find the following report:

I have installed MP1.3.0Beta with Titan Extended skin (very nice!) everything works!
Downloaded the Moving Pictures plugin from the mediaportal download site and installed (win8 did not let me, but when clicking More Info in the win8 warning screen there is an option to install anyways)
Updated the Moving Pictures database from within the Mediaportal configuration plugin section as usual, everything works fine
    Disabled the standard Videos plugin
selected "show in home screen" for moving pictures.
Closed Mediaportal Configuration with the OK button to save the new settings.

So far so good.. but when I open Mediaportal and goto the home screen, still the Videos button is present, but when clicking on it, nothing happens (of course.. its disabled!), the moving pictures button is nowhere to be found.

When going back to Mediaportal Configuration, the settings I want are still there (videos disabled, Moving pictures inn home screen)

Restart the computer does not help.

Installing the updates for Titan Skin (to 1.3.0.226) which show some updates for moving pictures, does not help.

is this a Windows 8 thing? or is it a Titan bug? ..

Note that (in my case) the Moving pictures plugin was working fine with windows 8 and MP 1.2.4

    Please help, thanks!

As with several other users, I'm seeing some issues with text display. The TV Guide shows the most obvious effects--the legends for program types don't properly fit within the box,and the program description text is stacked with the channel call sign. On the home screen, the title for the "World Weather" plugin doesn't fit, and the final "r" seems to be dropped as a result. As of the moment, I'm using Titan Extended V1.3.0.226 on MP 1.3.0 beta. My display resolution is 1920 x 1200.

These are small problems though, and the new skin is otherwise amazing! Keep up the good work!

    Thanks.

    Sasha

I do not know why this xml was in my theme folders, it must have sneaked in some time ago (years?). I simply removed the file. The Latest Media Handler plugin seems to be working as expected. I've had no lock-ups.
