Hi, thank you. But wouldn't a Master/Slave just put the TV to Standby and not turn it entirely on?

Depends on the TV. My Sharp turns on. It's easy to test; turn the TV on, then unplug the TV. After a short time plug it again and see in what state it will go... ;-)
Maybe there is a difference if there is a signal to the TV or not...

Thank you for your hint. I have a combination of Harmony 300 and PowerScheduler++ running and it works prety well so far :)
