TVE3 Locking up the PC (1 Viewer)

I obviously have an issue. When it occurs, my mouse locks up and eventually my monitor goes in to sleep (not set to do so even if I am away from the computer). Can someone tell me where I am lost here????

Little update to it all.

I removed MP and TVE3 and reinstalled per the instructions.
I've ensured all .NET updates are installed as well as drivers.
I deleted the database and created a new one.

But regardless of my actions, about a minute or so after TVService starts my CPU goes to ~50% (one entire CPU @ 100%) without any indication of the process using it in tskmgr or with WinTask.

Also, my mouse cursor is locked in one place, but I can still use the mouse.

Stopping TVService does not get rid of the issue. If I close TVE3 or MP (Depending on which one I was in) it completely locks the computer up.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm getting a little desperate...

The TVE3 error log shows nothing but tuning faults (I was running a scan)

Well, hopefully I've discovered the cause. It appears my issue may be the culmination of multiple problems at once.

Using Process Explorer I discovered that I had extremely high DPCs and Interrupts. I was working through discovering what the cause was when my PCI slots went to the birds. Now no matter what I attempt (drivers,etc) I can not get the computer to see anything on the PCI slots. I even went as far as a HD format and reinstall everything to no avail.

So for the issue with the PCI slots I am going to RMA the mobo...

The second thing I discovered is straight from the Technisat documentation for the SkyStar2 DVB-S card is that they know there are compatability issues with most Nividia nForce4 chipset based motherboards. I have purchased a WinTV-Nova-S to get around this. And I have a SS2 that is unused for anyone looking.

Also picked up a ASUS A8V-XE mobo so the SkyStar2 doesn't collect dust...

After some extensive research on DVBN I've discovered that the A8N-SLI motherboard has issues with their PCI slot version (They use a v2.3). It'll only support a 3.3v PCI card and the SS2 requires 5v. Sadly the connector accepts the SS2 without any issues and so you wouldn't think there'd be an issue.

I've RMAed the mobo and bought a A8V-XE to replace in the backend for now. I can always use the A8N in a thin-client down the road....assuming I pick up a s939 processor since it seems AMD is moving on to the AM2 form...
