Hi there wunschkind,

I think your motherboard has to support wake from USB devices and your PSU also has to supply 5V to USB on standby, i will try to find a little more info for you. I have the mplay VFD and mplay blast, i can turn my PC on and off through the internal USB headers, i have moved some jumpers around on my mother board to wake from S3 i think.

I have the same remote, how are you getting on with it? Mine is very sensitive and skips a few places at a time have you any suggestions? How have you set yours up?

Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Many thanks for the answer. So far I've used Logitech's Harmony hub. This allows you to control all components (including the media portal). I have now contacted the Sofabaton hotline. It should also work here like with the Harmony. Unfortunately, not all of the IR codes are correct. You can also learn commands here. But that doesn't...
