Web Interface (1 Viewer)

If you are running TV Server (You can have TV Server and Client on the same computer) then you can have a web interface, look at this thread.

Again this thread will be able to do some of this as it does have remote control abilites and with dual screen setup.... worth a look and Big_Kev is always developing this app with more features requested by people.....

Sounds interesting but what i can see you can only control the TV app in mediaportal with this plugin. Am i wrong? I have looked through the documentation and the few screenshots i have found and everything is just showing what you could do with the tv section through your web browser...

With the Self Contained Web Interface you can also control many Mediaportal (not only TVServer) feature.

the remote control is just that a remote control app that allows you to navigate through all funtions of MediaPortal as if it was a real MCE remote. It will do picture, movies, music, tv and anything that MP has been configured to do.

I use it to freak the kids out as the system starts doing things by itself while they are watching something....lol..

Install it and give it a try...you will be impressed and is suited exactly for your needs.

Are the web commands published somewhere as I would like to use girder and my touchscreen to control directly so I will set girder to send the web commands to MP or what ever server is sitting behind this!!

Then I can do away with forcing focus and sending keys
