I am the maintainer of Comskip.
What formats does mediaportal record in?

At the moment it's recording to MPEG-2, wrapped by DVR-MS.

Recording to MPEG-2 TS will be back again, just no date yet when this will be. It's in the works.

I have no intention to support DVR-MS.
Why are you going for TS instead of PS?
TS input is starting to work in Comskip

TS for DVB cards & possibly PS for Analogue cards.
It all depends how the engine comes together.
Development has stopped until we get more expertise in that area.

So we need some more guru's ... any takers out there.

Comskip 0.79 build 23 has experimental TS support.
Anyone that can test and feedback?

Im interested in testing it out.

Our TS Engine is on hold until we get more developers for that area.
So it's unlikely we'll be in a position to test for some time yet.
When we are I'll Grab the latest version of ComSkip and test it out.

I'll hope that this could be integrated to MP recording engine.
