It is very difficult to do it, but i read this website: MediaPortalSetup WebEPG - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation
It is in English, but it was very helpfull for me. including the explanation of setting up webepg planner.

Look for TVxb its very simple in use and uses tvgids.nl to grab data from (max 3 days)

It works like a charm.

This is how I do it on my single seat TVE3/MP system:
- Use WebEPG (in the mediaportal folder) to grab the guides and store them in the tvguide.xml file (in the mediaportal\xmltv folder).
- You can configure web-epg with webepg-conf.exe
- Use the windows scheduled tasks to run webepg.exe once a day
- Configure TV server XMLTV plugin to automatically pick up the tvguide.xml file from the xmltv folder


If you use the built-in TVE2 you can schedule the running and xml import of web-epg through the webepg grabber plugin
