I have three Hauppauge HVR-cards in my system. All channels are mapped to all three cards, the cards all have different prio settings. No problem recording 2 channels simultaneously, but when I try to record three, I get errors.
The following scenario is in the attached logs:

i am running TMP 2.3.0. Yesterday it crashed and I had to turn of my HTPC while running. Now when I try to start TV it says it cant tune in. I had a look at the log-file and it says that the mysql database is locked and it therefore cannot access tuner information. how can i remove that lock to get TV working again?

I have bumped into that a few times too. It has happened to me when playing material when that switch is made. It does not seem to happen if you make the switch at the home menu. I worked around it by using the configuration utility to make mine fullscreen the default. This seems to be an issue with the actual 'switch'.

It appears that those new definitions have been added to MediaPortal, however the old ones were not taken out. So all you have to do it open up CaptureCardDefinitions.xml, search for m780, and take out the first 2 you find (There are 4 total). After that everything has been working fine for me. Hope this helps!

Sorry... Worked it out ... after a noticed a new issue...
The problem was the Catalyst Control Center... So the solution was to uninstall the CCC with ATI's uninstaller. And then just install the display drivers of ATI's website!

Wow, it worked. So mediaportal TV server is the only program of about 6 that I've tried, including the same version of mediaportal, that recognise the card. Is there a reason for this? I'd have thought they use pretty much the same code / drivers /whatever.
