This problem has existed from the start, search the forum if you need more details...its been discussed many times.
The work-around is to shut the TV down before minimising….

Awesome! The latest SVN seems to have fixed my issue. I made two "Mon-Fri" schedules and they recorded fine.
I will schedule an "any time on this channel" schedule and see if that still works (just in case the fix stuffed up the other schedule types).

If this is xp, use the driver available from AMD, rather than the one provided by M$, do not know why there is a difference, but it handles the chip better, and do not enable any cool n quiet in the bios as this is also detrimental to a htpc as well.

Thanks for your reply. I have re-installed Media Portal several times now. I also tried the SVN nightly build (with no success). After each uninstall I manually deleted the media portal directory. Does this also remove the databases? If not, where can I find these databases?
