Found the new freq:s att terracoms site. Channel 44 has changed to channel 51 ( 714 Mhz ) for Molnbo/tallstugan.
i changed the dvb-t.xml entry for molnbo and it worked like a charm.
should i point this out to someone at developmet so that this gets in to the sources?

You should state the TV engine version you are using (probably "default" TVE2?).
Your card nr. 2 is a software encoding TV-card (don't know about first, but my guess is that this is SW also). These are only somewhat supported by MP. There are many posts about these Asus cards - try searching.
My tip would be to try TVE3 - perhaps...

First time building a HTPC and i'm having a bit of trouble getting media portal to recognise my HD S2...
MP 0.2.3 starts but crashes HARD -> bye, MediaPC
ok, LAST TRY:
reinstalled XP (this time German version, before was English) , BDA drivers, ATI driver mainboard version (only 7.10 avail, older versions not).:
MP 0.2.3. starts, but
- does not recognize the KNC one DVB-S card (with BDA drivers installed)
- hangs reproducably...

I've been searching over this forum a solution to my problem but I couldn't find anything.
I have a PINNACLE PCTV PRO...
I finally found what the problem was. The problem was that I was having UAC enabled. If I turn it off, it works as it should. The only other alternative seems to be to manually clear the VirtualStore every time one upgrades MP (including SVNs). The post from floepie (other thread) got me thinking in that direction.
