Having trouble installing or configuring MediaPortal?
Just to add that I have now tried to modify the channels.xml file manually and I still just get the Swedish audio automatically.
Where is it getting this information from?
This is killing my project as I have kids in the house, MP is pretty much perfect except this part.

BTW, I am able to manually edit the XML file in Notepad and add in the path to my videos. Then when I run MediaPortal I can see that location. However, I still cannot use the configuration tool to set my folder paths.

OK thanks for that, I'll give it a shot.
Incidentally I think I've fixed my crashing issue, I got newer drivers (2.5E) from www.hauppauge.co.uk. It's scanned successfully now, I'll give it a go and see if I can view channels.
