Tested ffdshow and BASS again: ffdshow is the source of the problem, I can reproduce it! With BASS it is 95% perfect. Winamp adds the other 5%. Playback is more vivid with WA.

When MP radio module (BASS player) connects to a stream, it doesn't show the waiting indicator anymore like MP did in 0.2.2.0. Is that a bug or has the MP team decided to get rid of it? It always looked pretty neat to me.

Plus if you use mp3, flac or another encoded format you will be able to tag the files and slice and dice them as you wish with the view function in not only MP but any other application as well...
