There seems to have been some recent change that results in the "What's Going On" section on the right hand side of the forum...
the login is tricky sometimes as there is an evil bridge between forum/homepage and wiki which is broken for some users that registered in specific timeframes. You can try to request a new password for forum (not hp), confirm that one in forum, log in to homepage with the new pass and finally login to wiki again. If that doesn't help...
