I dont know if this could help at all? bbc iplayer have a bigscreen version.

and it works quiet well. is it not possible to pull this page up on opening the plug-in and just add the function so a remote could work?

I am amazed there is not a current/maintained iPlayer/ITV Catchup plugin??

There were some separate streams where people had produced some, but they seemed to have died out

Windows7 New iPlayer Plugins - Australian Media Center Community yet another one developed for MCE includes code.

The google Code page for the above plugin - all C# and loads WMV video - so both things MP should handle? i.e. no flash. Not sure how good the WMV streams are.

I looked at the plugin source (Windows7 New iPlayer Plugins - Australian Media Center Community) and could integrate this in OnlineVideos if someone can confirm that it works and is what you need. (I can't view BBC content from germany).

That would be fantastic! I can definately test anything to let you know if it works or not, etc.
