i'm uploading a cvs version as i'm typing this, tested with the cvs versions from 2/6. i didnt get a chance to look everything over, so i hope you all don't mind being my testers. I still have to make the same changes to mce1280x720 (that's actually the skin i use), so i'll be doing that while awaiting feedback.

quick list of what is different:
fixed the mytvhome page buttons on the left: they now open dialog boxes
fixed the problems with mymusic and myradio (altho i didn't have any problems navigating via keyboard at any time)
added 2 screens for coverart search (can't think of their names right now)

I am also going to do a basichome screen when time permits...please cast your votes as to what you would like to see on it. I figure mytv, mymusic, myvideos are a no brainer, so let me know what else should be included. If i can use existing graphics, this shouldn't take long.

Not meaning to hassle you more, but is there any chance of a 1366 x 768 version of the skin?

I'm sure there are lots of other people out there with LCDs that will thank you for a native resolution skin for media portal!

Music, Videos, TV, Pictures
and Weather if you can fit it.

probably not for a couple of months at least. i can't remember if it was in this thread, but in the mce1280x720 skin thread, but somebody asked the same thing. I would be more than willing to help somebody make a 768 version...chaning the xml files would be fairly simple and i would be able to make the initial changes. The problem is with graphics and maintanence; ight now i don't have the time to do the graphics and maintain a third skin.

Everything looks great, and I'm happy to finally be looking at a usable 16:9 skin. :lol:

One quick thing I did notice, it looks like you overlooked the "Now Playing" view in "My Music". It still shows, but in a little box on the left hand side of the screen. No biggie though, I'm sure you'll get to it when you get to it.

Yup, i overlooked it. copied the bluetwo xml into the 720 skin, but didn't see where it was used and kind of forgot about it. Didn't bother to look at the 9th option the views dialog box.

i've updated that xml file, click this link and "save link as" to download that file only.

Everything looks good here too except ... is there supposed to be such a large area below the browser plugin, like about 1/5th of the screen?

Unfortunately, the is no way for a skinner to control the size of the browser window. I could move the status bar and Status label down some, but i thought it looked worse than where it was. Checked the razor skin for comparison, and Raven left it like i did. Hopefully at some point the mp code will be changed to allow skinners to move things around.
