During initial installation, deploytool will throw errors if Windows Firewall is disabled.

    Wiki Manual Updated: Requirements Section

I encountered this error and eventually figured it out by doing an advanced install.
I added "Windows Firewall Service running during install" to the requirements in the wiki manual.
This will hopefully prevent a lot of frustration.
I only tested the issue for XP SP2 and not for Vista.
I assumed the issue applies to both OSs.

    Great!

    :D

    Very cool.
I will remove the wiki manual entry that I added when RC2 comes out and includes your fix.

I've setup my HDHomeRun in MP1 as (4) IPTV cards rather than Atsc. I can see the (4) Atsc cards, but just have them disabled. I'll provide more...

Good shout! Working when setting the network to private. Windows 7 firewall certainly doesn't behave like it does in Windows 10/11. Saved me a lot of time having to debug the code. Thanks for the tip!

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.
