It's a bit complicated, the information is stored in Mediaportal, and the background process of getting the information in the PH. But in general it is possible to make a forced run. But there will be no progress, and about the end of the scanning process, you can only be notified by a dialog box. In general, this process was intended as a background process, without human involvement.

Sadly I'm not getting any artist or album informations from theaudiodb

When I turn on MusicInfoHandler I at least get informations from allmusic - but not language specific, cause allmusic doesn't offer this...

IMHO language specific (Music)Artist/Album Information should be an essential feature in HTPC-Software. Even my Handy-App Music Player does this very well...

I'm trying to say: What is better/easier/makes more sense?

1. Trying to fix MusicInfoHandler?
2. Try to integrate artist/album scraping (theaudiodb and other providers) in FanartHandler
3. Or even integrate this in MePoTools?!?
4. or - absolte crazy - integrate this directly into MediaPortal
   
5. @Lehmden or is there a chance to get this working with Media-Buddy (write Informations into Musicdatabase)

OR am I just spending too much time in quarantine

FH already add info for Artist and Album, but i need to look why its not work for you

I need at least some log file with an error, otherwise (if there are no errors) then everything should work, and if there are errors, I need to see what and why.

I made (again) Log-files in debug mode.
In general it's the same as before --> and for every artist/album it's the same.
No [Error] - e.g. Bob Dylan
