Hi emphatic,

Feature request: Could you stop using "keep aspect ratio" on movie posters in MyVideo as well as in Moving Pictures? Because if you have a poster that's not the same proportion as the frame round it, it's showing very clearly

I cannot find that I use this anywhere in those plugins. Is it in the moving pictures detail view or where in moving pictures?

Sorry, my mistake. I believe only in MyMovies this happens.

On another note, I've setup my Basic Home to not use multiimages and linked to the backgrounds I want to use, but everytime I go to the BasicHome, I see some of the images I know are inside my (not used) multiimage folders briefly before the static one has loaded. As I've used those folders before, are the paths stored somewhere? Bug?

Sorry for this. I figured it out already. As the submenus for each menu item still use the folders, it's those I see flashing when the BasicHome loads.

Menu item: TV-Series (use tv-series.jpg)
Sub item: tvseries.xml (use folder "tvseries")

Hi cul8er,
Hope this hasn't been asked before, I tried to search the forum with no luck.

I'm using the latest R396 release. With the BasicHomeXFactor.xml variant, when using the up/down arrow in the basic home menu, MP freezes and crashes after a few seconds. It does not happen when using any if the other variants of the basic home.

Hi hrox,

Thank you for your feedback. Please see this post ()https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/x-factor-316/about-x-factor-skin-r396-68714/index52.html#post527096. The x-factor menu is only for MP1.1 users. Are you using MP1.1 or MP1.0.2. If you run MP1.0.2 this menu will crash MP.

Oh, I see, thanks (I am using 1.0.2). I now recall I saw you wrote something about that...

Yet some other problem -
With the regular horizontal menu (with RSS) the weather forecast at the buttom always disappears after half a second (after entering basic home).

Another thing -
When selecting ALBUM/ARTIST INFO in My Music there are no up/down buttons to scroll pages (there was a similar bug I reported in My Lyrics a while ago). I have added a bug report about that in Google Code.

Hi,

With the regular horizontal menu (with RSS) the weather forecast at the buttom always disappears after half a second (after entering basic home).

By default weather is hidden an available if you press down twice. If you want weather available two times goto settings\xfactor and select the option "Show Weather Forecast allways". Fanart plugin stuff

I just got myself some quality fanart (I did it all by myself), but I can't get it to work will all artist names such as:

Josè González

.

Is this a limitation in the plugin, or just a bug?

And a feature request, could we get the fanart working in the music browsing views as well, as I don't use the Now Playing screen that much? A very nice feature, this plugin. Kudos to you sir! On another note, I kinda miss seing the visualization on the Now Playing screen, perhaps this could be selected in the plugin config later on?

Cul8er, well done - best skin around by a long shot.

I am using 1.1Beta on 1920x1080 HD plasma and have a few problems.

1. Text overlap - it looks as though the font is too large in titles or there is a positioning problem. This is throughout the skin, see examples attached:

Thanks Flip - should the installer not have done this.

I searched and cannot find a Fonts directory to put these files into. I tried puttng them into the main skin folder and deleted the cache but no change. I tried creating a folder in the skin directory but still no change. Only thing I can think is that I have to change the font sizes in the Font xml or the size definitions in the main xml files but surely then this is a bug.

Please let me know if I am missing something obvious here.
