How to translate menus (to spanish, for example)? What must I do with the es.xml file? because I cannot see any option to choose the language....

thanks for this super-great work....

You can set the skin language in MP Config:

General -> Skin -> Language settings.

Of course, I have the spanish language in skin language settings, but this has not effect in the main menus because this strings are not in the lenguaje file, I must translate them in Basichome design with StreamedMp Basichome Editor, so I think interesting get the BasicHome.xml file translated also..:D

BasicHome is a user defined menu, so users can just simply translate themselves by opening the editor...I guess we could translate the default menu items though.

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...

Yes, I saw that. Was beyond my understanding, however. Didn't see how to set that up. I'm a relative neophyte, who's done hardly any command-line coding. To be more specific: I don't see, under either "Grabbing Listings" or in the "First use example," where it is designated just where on one's C drive the tv.xml file is...

Thanks for the update on this. I should have searched before posting, always assume it is something I have done wrong.

Hi. I'm using Media Portal One in New Zealand and have been using EPG collector for many years, but it died on me today. Did you find solution to your problem as I will probably need to change media portal to try and import a TV guide from off the web somehow See also my thread here...
