Hey there...
i try and try but nothing works...
can someone tell me step by step, how i have to configure streamedmp, so that it looks like that

Hi,

I moved this post and resized the image, we try to keep the announcement threads clean.

As to your question, you will need to configure the Basichome screen and define the submenu, this is done from the Basichome editor - if not already done so read though the editor Wiki found here.

thx for your answer (and putting my thread to the right place), but i already read this wiki. it does not help me.
I'd like to create an "item" for movies in divx-format named "SD Movies" and on the other hand an "item" for movies in HD-format named "HD Movies". Both items should be a submenu of "Watch your movies".
So I have an folder for divxfiles and an folder for HDfiles.
In "Moving Pictures" i can select those different directories, but it will take all movies together, so in MP there will be just one entry with a list of ALL moviefiles. So another Question is, how can i select different directions with"Moving Pictures" - one for divx and one for HD?

(hope you understand what my problem is... )

You can't do that as it also requires support from the plugin. This feature is scheduled for MovingPictures v1.2.0.

when will movinpictures v1.2.0 be released?
Or is there another plugin that works nearly like MovingPictures, so I can use MovingPictures for HD-Videos and the other plugin for SD-Videos ?

Probably not for a while, they are still in alpha/beta for v1.1.x.

MyVideos in database view should be a good alternative for you...this is assuming you are using MediaPortal 1.2 Alpha as there have been some good enhancements with even more for the upcoming MP 1.2 Beta.

First I configured MovingPictures with the SD-Moviefiles-Directory, this works in MP under "Watch Movies" with StreamedMP.
Second I configured in MediaPortal - Configuration in point -Video Folders the HD-Moviefiles-Directory.


Is there in MovingPictures Configuration in BasicHome-Design an item for this second configuration?

You would use the 'Videos' quicklist item for this, just change the text to suit.

because when i just use "videos" from quicklist, there will be the same videofiles as movingpictures in MP.
