I can not access my Music library on my NAS?! Ok, if I map the NAS-folder to a 'local' drive, but I would like native network support. Anyway, many thanks for developing this great tool :D

Well, there is support for it.
The only problem is that i need Interop.Shell32.dll for it.

If i compile on Vista, which i do, it'll not work on XP.
so i would need to build on XP to have it work on both systems.

i'll see what i can do. Maybe i'll do the release builds on a XP Virtual Machine.

well, if i can build on XP, there's no need to have a second build.
It's just a question of setting up a build environment now

    Ok, i tried now.
Works perfect on XP but doesn't on Vista.

It will take a while, before i find some time to debug the cod, so in the meantime, map your shares to a drive letter.

Instead of building too versions (for xp and vista) you could solve the problem with a plugin-system.
so you can extend functions via plugins for different operating systems ;)

Well to have a plugin system just for handling this one different behaviour is a bit overhead.
i'll try chasing down what happens on Vista, but haven't found time yet.

I understand this will take some time, but just in support, I second the request to be able to access network drives.

You can always try, select any window, turn off the Media Portal, change the ID of the selected one to the desired one (plugin) and check.

Oh no. That's not good news. It looks like this is going to be complicated. OnlineVideos won't let us record, so that isn't going to work on this occasion, but I do like the information you have given on Online Videos because I have tried and failed to understand the wiki on that. I will remember this for future use. In the meantime...

Good. I am pleased that that is now working for you. :) If you have ever looked at MP debug log files, you may have noticed that apparent errors are not rare, but these are "errors" that do not affect the functioning of the product. (It is not desirable to have these errors in the log file, as it misleads users, testers, and...
