I have seen this issue when trying to upgrade from the MPEI Extensions Installer on one of my boxes but not on the other. I have no idea why this occurs, the error says invalid but I can't see any evidence of it.

I suggest you just use the link from the first post to manually download and install.

I couldn't explain why the MediaPortal web-server returned a 404 file not exists when downloading from MPEI Extensions Installer, the URL was pointing to the exact location as does the manual link.

I have uploaded again, but this time to a different location and it seems to have resolved the issue.

@high, the problem is back again.

Are you able to see what is going on from the web-server side? For some reason when MPEI Extensions Installer downloads the package the web-server goes to a 404 page, as a consequence it downloads an invalid file which is basically the contents of the 404 page. The URL is:

    https://www.team-mediaportal.com/in...task=att_download&link_id=30&cf_id=65

It is fine from a web-browser for me.

<ExtensionDescription>Moving Pictures is a movie management plug-in that focuses on ease of use and flexibility. Point it to your movies collection and Moving Pictures will automatically load media rich details about your movies as quickly as possible with as little user interaction as possible. Once imported you can browse your collection via an easy to use but highly customizable interface.</ExtensionDescription>
<VersionDescription>* Fixed artwork being re-used for movies of the same title name.
** Database upgrade is performed on first start to update existing artwork references.
** Any orphaned artwork will be removed from disk i.e. anything not referenced in the database.
    * Fixed a possible crash on start of movie playback, issue occurred if the some fields of the movie contained empty values when publishing skin Play properties (this would not affect everybody).
    * Added a few new Play skin properties for Studios, Collections and PlotKeywords.
    * Updated the fanart.tv poster and backdrop provider to use v3 of the API.
    * Updated scraper priority defaults when handled automatically by MovingPictures.
** Primary details source is now themoviedb scraper for all languages.
** Primary and Secondary cover and backdrop sources are handled by themoviedb and fanart.tv.
** Users can still override these by manually prioritising sources in configuration.
    * Updated Swedish Filmtipset.se scraper script, thanks hexago.
** Fixed Genres, Language, Score and Popularity.
    ** Added Studios and PlotKeywords.
    * Updated translations from Transifex.</VersionDescription>

Response from both MPEI and web browser:
    Code:
    HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
    Server: nginx
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
    Connection: keep-alive
    Set-Cookie: **; path=/; domain=.team-mediaportal.com

    X-Page-Speed: 1.8.31.4-4009
    Cache-Control: max-age=0, no-cache
    Content-Length: 0
MPEI follows by new direction but it doesn't expect two directions:
    Code:
    GET https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/movies-videos/moving-pictures/att_download-2,https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/movies-videos/moving-pictures/att_download-2 HTTP/1.1
    Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate,gzip, deflate,gzip, deflate
    Host: www.team-mediaportal.com
    result is 404 ofc
Looks like site bug for me @high

It works for me from browser and from MPEI! Thx!
Now it returns HTTP 200 and mpei file by first link without redirection to another location.
I still hope we'll receive some more improvements (i.e permament links to all old versions, more readable download link, place to sotre specific downloads like streamedmp patches) to plugin downloading repo now when googlecode downloading feature deprecieted but it's another story :)

The problem with MP 1.32 was that the TV Server component was still 32-bit, even when you installed the 64-bit version of the MP client. MP 1.33 will have 32-bit and 64-bit versions of both the MP client and TV Server. My understanding is that it will not be possible to perform an upgrade install from a 64-bit client + 32-bit TV...
